How it started…

Whiplash Customs began as Whiplash Detailing in 1998 and has evolved into a high quality business venture under Al Lambeth’s direction and ambitious talent as a metal fabricator. Whiplash Customs is well known for experience, quality craftsmanship and excellent service catering to a diverse variety of customers looking to either have a treasured vintage tool, collectible car or memorabilia piece lovingly restored or a dream fulfilled by having a custom motorcycle designed and built to meet their vision.

Experience

Al has more than 35 years experience in the custom fabrication business. During that time he began with custom hot rods and moved into gas station memorabilia, collectibles and vintage tool restorations as well as building some of the highest quality custom bikes on the road today. Al performs a full range of custom work that includes not only full builds but upgrades and modifications as well. He puts his experience, creativity and talent to work with an attention to detail that puts his product above the rest.

Craftsmanship

There is a special talent and work ethic that must go into quality custom motorcycles and cars or a cherished piece of vintage memorabilia. Al’s creativity and dedication to produce bikes that can only be defined as class and quality has resulted in a reputation that speaks to his high degree of craftsmanship. This talent is also apparent in his display of finished custom cars, memorabilia and vintage tools.

Tools

Al works with a complete array of metal fabricating tools that he has spent many years collecting. He firmly believes that vintage tools still produce the best quality so he has spent countless hours restoring them and uses them daily with results that speak for themselves in the high quality of fabrication and finish.

Parts

Al is a dealer for most of the major bike and car parts suppliers. His knowledge of the many different types of motorcycles, custom cars and their unique requirements makes parts ordering efficient and as quick as a two day turnaround. He also has a vast inventory of quality suppliers who specialize in parts from the past – for restoring almost every bit of history that needs some TLC.
